This is what our backyard looks like today. But after lots of rain the sky turned to bright blue – you can see the reflection of the clouds in the puddle.

And yes – that is a weed. But I think it looks pretty.

Delicate purple flowers weighed down by the rain. Luckily the sun came out long enough to get this photo.

This morning it rained non-stop for about 6 hours, so unfortunately my photo opportunities were very limited. Today’s snap captured the raindrops on a bush in my parent’s garden.
