This Pelican was found at a little park near our house. He allowed us to get within about a meter of him.

The Pink and Grey Gallahs were also very friendly and talkative.

I have had this picture for a while and have wanted to use it – these are White Cockatoos that hang around the Swan River/Bell Tower area. I loved the glow on this picture.

As I was walking around the park in amongst the Subiaco suburbs I spotted two black swans swimming towards me.

These are one of Western Australia’s wildlife icons.
