John Septimus Roe was the first Surveyor-General of Western Australia. This statue of him suddenly appeared one day on the street corner, adding a little more interest to an otherwise boring intersection.

The circus is in town at the moment. Well actually theres two – this one is set up on the Esplanade, across the road from the Swan River. There is also one up in Joondalup.

This Pelican was found at a little park near our house. He allowed us to get within about a meter of him.
