Well, tea actually.
Stuck at home today with not much to photograph. The Starbucks mug is from Sydney – yet another thing that Perth doesn’t have.

I like the idea of tea in a Starbucks mug! No Starbucks there? I am used to seeing them on every corner. Maybe you have a nice independent coffee place. I prefer those, actually.
Our little town is getting a Starbucks. I’m not crazy about them like everyone else but my daughter is excited, lol. She loves one of their frozen drinks. See, I’m not cool enough to even remember what the names of the drinks are,lol
You’re really not missing too much by not having a chain cafe. Aren’t there any local coffee cafes? I’ve become more and more intrigued by Australia because of bloggers like you and Sally from Sydney, and I thinK I want to v isit! This past winter while in Mexico I talked to several Canadians who waxed eloquent about Perth.
My husband is a huge Starbucks fan. Me, I have yet to meet a coffee that I didn’t like. Starbucks is good, but any other kind will do as well….
No Starbucks? you aren’t missing anything I’m sure.
Starbucks have (unfortunately) invaded New Zealand also! You’re not missing anything, believe me!
Eh. No Starbucks, no big loss. We have a few in town, but I like our locals better.
@ crittoria – Come to Perth and I’ll show you a coffee you won’t like!
We do have numerous independent local cafes, some are very good, others… not so good.
The big chains in Perth are Gloria Jeans and Dome, both serve rather expensive, burnt or bitter coffee.
I would like to have a Starbucks here – at least give us the chance to decide whether we like it or not! Same with Crispy Creme donuts – currently only in Melbourne and Sydney.
